Soumyaloke Biswaseva Niketan is a non-profit organization, founded in June, 1995 under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act. It was founded with the sole objective of serving the underprivileged sections of the society. Our programme is located at Dakshin Jagaddal, under Rajpur-Sonarpur Municipality, in the southern suburbs of Kolkata, at a distance of 8 K.M. from Garia. The campus is embedded in a lush green environment with flower and fruit gardens.

OBJECTIVES

To provide a safe and enabling environment for the orphan girl child

To provide access to education to the orphan children and marginalized children from the urban fringes

To facilitate the admission of the orphan children into various training programmes and higher education so that they can become economically independent

To aid in the economic independence of marginalized youth and women through skill-based trainings
